This is all crack that my Cohort English 1 class came up with when our teacher was absent. It was an assignment and now our teacher wishes she never taught a Freshman class. You have been warned.

Henry, the fastidious horse, couldn't decide what flavor of cake to have at his party. He didn't want a banal cake with plain, white frosting, so he made a triple chocolate chunk chocolate chip cookie dough cake! Henry started to embellish the cake with his friend Harmoon, the unicorn, with rainbow sprinkles and glittery sparkles that spell "#Lowther."

However, the mood turned melancholy when Harmoon sat on the cake. Suddenly, the capricious Lyric walked in with her magic wand and poofs the cake back to normal.

Henry's austere parents, Tyler Oakley and Miranda Sings, demanded he should not make the cake without parental supervision. Harmoon's parents come along, who are much more benign than Henry's parents, and calms the situation. With the permission to have the cake, Henry and Harmoon began to dawdle in the cleaning up of their mess. Henry's parents became angry with their lethargic ways. Then the cake fell on the floor with a tumultuous bang.

Henry's parents sighed, wanting to go back to their peaceful and tranquil evening. Henry's parents allowed them to be autonomous in making a new cake.

Once they made the new, pretty cake, Henry's parents extolled them, "Even though your cake is insipid, great job on making it so presentable."

They were then distracted by an opaque spirit in the corner. "Aha! It was I who is responsible for the defamation of your cake!" The ghost said.
So this is what my English class does when our teacher's absent...
When my teacher was absent, she made a paper and each of the students got one, explaining what they were going to be doing while she was not here. Basically it was a "review" for Friday's exam one week and it was to write a group story:
One person goes up to the board and writes out the "introductory sentence" using one vocab word from our list and after that person's done, another one goes up to the board and writes a new sentence, using one word from the vocab list. It continues on until all 26 words have been used (two from lesson 1's vocab) AND it has to maintain the typical plot structure. Each student goes twice (we only have 13 kids in my English class, I'm one of them-) and my teacher wants us to have 28 sentences in the story.
As you can tell, we did NOT finish the story. For we only have used 16 words. And Lowther is my teacher's name in case you didn't pick that up... xD

Here's a challenge: Can you find all 16 vocab words in this story? Hint: There's one vocab word in each sentence...

Starting with the first sentence, since each person did one sentence:
Caroline, Molly, Justin, Lyric, Emily, Sophie, RaeAnna, Olivia, Madison, :iconarcticdance:, Megan, Jamie, and :iconkairiinwonderland:. Caroline, Molly, and Justin did two sentences.
